Freshman Jaiden Tweed Leads NC in Strikeouts

Jaiden Tweed, class of 2018, finished the 2015 High School season as the state leader in regular season strikeouts, despite a rain-shortened schedule. Tweed led Owen High School to the State Playoffs and finished the regular season with 193 strikeouts in 96.2 innings of work (2 per inning). Eight more strikeouts in the playoffs gave Tweed 201 for the season, shattering the school's previous record high of 183 during the team's State Title run.
