Huge Victory for Freshman Tweed

Jaiden Tweed's amazing Freshman season is heading toward a close, but not before she pulled off yet another amazing performance in pitching Owen High School to a thrilling road victory over Conference Champion Polk County on its own Senior Night.

Tweed limited Polk to only four hits, allowing no earned runs and striking out 16 in the win. It was Polk's first conference loss of the 2015 season.

Tweed leads Western North Carolina with 165 strikeouts in 81.2 innings of work, more than 2 per inning. The victory keeps Owen High in the hunt for a playoff spot.
