Back-to-back-to-back One-Hitters
In the course of one week, Jaiden Tweed spent two days in bed with the stomach flu and surrounded those days with back-to-back-to-back one-hitters, with three victories.
Tweed finished the week's work with 16 innings pitched, three hits allowed, and 36 strikeouts. That raises her season total to 149 K's in 74.2 innings of work for a sterling 2.0 K/IP rate.
In the past three weeks, Tweed has thrown two no-hitters, three one-hitters, and been named WNC Athlete of the Week.
