Tweed Continues to Impress
It might be difficult to top a 14-strikeout varsity debut as a Freshman, but Jaiden Tweed may have done just that. Facing one of the area's traditional powerhouses and one of the larger schools in Western North Carolina, Tweed surrendered one hit and only one earned run in six innings of work, striking out 12.
For the season that brings the freshman's strikeout total to 26 in 13.2 innings, with an ERA of 2.56 and an opponent's batting average of .125.
