For 18 months, Jaiden Tweed did not lose a game in the circle. Playing 14U, 16U, and 18U Gold, "A", and Showcase tournaments, the 13/14 year old Tweed was unbreakable, averaging over 1.5 Ks per inning and holding opponents to just over a .100 batting average.
But, at the 2014 ASA South Atlantic Summer Showcase in Greenville, SC, Tweed finally dropped her first game in a year and a half, losing a 3-2 heartbreaker with all three runs being unearned. Tweed put that aside in winning her second game on the weekend and also finished with a .526 average and four steals on offense.
