Tweed Takes All-Tournament Honors at Xeno!

Jaiden Tweed, Class of 2018, showed why she is one of the most feared rising freshmen in the southeast as she put all of her talents on display at the 2014 NSA Xeno Player Showcase in Burlington, NC.
In 5-1/3 innings of work, Tweed allowed only four balls to be put in play, allowing only one hit and fanning 13, with an ERA of 1.31.
At the plate, Tweed finished a sparkling 7-for-12 (.583) with one double. She also put her speed on display during the Showcase, both on the bases and in the field. At short, Tweed made two backhanded grabs in the hole. In center, Tweed was just as spectacular, showcasing both her speed and her incredible arm strength throughout the weekend.
For her efforts, Tweed was named to the 2018 All Tournament Team.
The Xeno Player Showcase Tournament consisted of four teams featuring 50 of the top rising freshmen in the North Carolina region.
