Tweed Named 2014 MVP!
In a no-brainer decision, 8th Grader Jaiden Tweed was awarded the Most Valuable Player Award for Owen Middle School Softball for 2014. Following up on her Tournament MVP Award for 2013, Jaiden finished this year with a 12-1 record on the mound with 149 strikeouts in 74 innings, an ERA of 1.23 and a batting average against of .111. For her career, Jaiden fanned 216 batters in 103 innings.
At the plate Jaiden hit .610 with 5 home runs, 25 extra base hits, a 1.396 SLG%, 33 RBI, 28 runs, and 11 steals in 17 games.
