Tweed Wraps Up Amazing Two-Year Middle School Run!

Jaiden Tweed missed much of 2013 due to an injury but still managed to hit .400 at the plate and score 9 runs in 8 games. On the mound all she did was fan 46 batters in 19 innings to win MVP of the Conference Tournament. In 2014, Tweed's numbers were off the chart. In the circle, she finished 12-1 with 149 Ks in 74 innings (an amazing 2 Ks/IP) with an ERA of 1.23 and an opponent's batting average allowed of .111. At the plate, she hit .610 with 25 extra base hits including five home runs and seven triples. Tweed scored 28 runs while driving in 33 in 17 games. Despite having only 9 singles all year, she still managed to steal 11 bases.
