Jaiden Tweed Reaches 50 Ks in 24 Innings!
They are dropping like flies when Jaiden Tweed takes the mound for Owen Middle School. The 8th Grader continued her domination on the mound tonight with 11 Ks in seven innings. It's a tribute to how overwhelming Tweed has been this year that surrendering three hits and striking out only eleven batters, it was the weakest performance of the season. Still, Tweed remained undefeated at 4-0 with 50 strikeouts in only 24 innings pitched. Tweed has now surrendered a mere seven hits in that time with opponents hitting .093. In addition, at the plate, Tweed followed up on her two home run performance yesterday with two doubles to the fence today.
